Warm air distribution
When using Canadian fireplace stoves you have two possibilities of utilizing the distribution of heat – either by way of warm water or warm air.
Warm air distribution – by using aluminum Semivac flexi tubing and fireplace fans, which function by aspirating warm air from the inter-casing of the fireplace and distributing it into other rooms. If you wish to distribute air without using a fan, the tubing can be up to 5 meters long and must be led upwards. If a fan is used, it must be placed up to 1 meter from the insert and the distribution piping can be up to 30 meters long. This depends upon the type and output of the fan.
